SANDS Program Sportsmen & Women Assisting the Nation's Disabled Sportsmen & Women

SANDS is a grass roots program made available through a partnership with the Nebraska Game and Parks Commission.

SANDS was created to give men and women with disabilities a means to meet able-bodied outdoors men and women who are able to assist the disabled in getting outdoors hunting and fishing. SANDS is more than a mentoring program. It is a way for them to meet new people with common interests in hunting and fishing.

The Nebraska Game and Parks Commission is partnering to provide a service for sportsmen and women with disabilities to find sportsmen and women who are willing to help provide hunting and fishing opportunities or just meet a new hunting partner.
