Okay December deer hunters…this recent bout of weather is the stuff we pray for. The snow should clear up tomorrow and many deer are holed up but will likely be feeding heavily tonight and tomorrow evening. My prediction is that with the snow cover reducing access to food and the cold temps…deer will be feeding early in the evening. Don’t head to your stand much later than 230pm or you may spook moving deer that are heading to feed between 3 and 4pm. They are hungry!
On larger parcels of land…tracking can be real successful provided you can move slowly.
Get em…out there!
