New Toy
…I obviously was a very good boy this past year – at least judging by the cool new things I have acquired this holiday season…one of which was a trail camera…I have had it for a few days now and already I have caught several images of dogs, cats and kids in my indoor use of the device…I even have a few pictures of deer, after the camera spent a brief night outdoors at my father-in-law’s…
…just a few years ago I never would have thought about adding a trail camera to my wish list – but the past couple of years have changed that a bit…I believed, and still do, that there is nothing better than knowing the area you hunt - and the best way to accomplish that is to spend as much time there as you can throughout the entire year…as many of you have discovered ‘time’ is one of the most limited resources we have nowadays…also like you, I am always looking for new places to explore and hunt…and though it will not replace the real scouting I do, it is my hope that this trail camera will help me learn about my hunting area a little faster – when I cannot be there myself…
…being new to this I am open to thoughts, ideas and suggestions on how to get the most out of this electronic device…I am also interested in anyone willing to share some of the pictures and experiences you’ve had with your trail cameras…
