Unique Birds

…taking advantage of the $5 youth turkey permits my nephew Wyatt harvested a couple of interesting birds this past weekend – it first turkeys ever…the first was a full-fanned, mature gobbler that had no spurs – nothing…there were some elongated leg-scales in the place the spurs would have been – but they did not extend out from the bird’s leg at all…the turkey did have two beards, however…later on Wyatt connected on a tom that had some very white primary (wing) feathers…it looked as if the usual black & white barring had been reveresed…if you look close enough you may just find that every bird is unique in some respect…
