Volunteers Needed for Shoreline Cleanup at Red Willow Reservoir

LINCOLN, Neb. – Volunteers are needed to help clean up the shoreline around Red Willow Reservoir on May 8 as a Take Pride in America Day activity, according to the Nebraska Game and Parks Commission.

Cleanup will be from 9 a.m.- noon. Trash bags will be provided. No ATVs are allowed. Interested volunteers should call Nik Johanson at (308) 345-5899 for more information.

Take Pride in America is a nationwide partnership program authorized by Congress that encourages and empowers volunteers from across America to improve our parks, lakes, wildlife areas, recreation areas, and cultural and historical sites.
