Fort Kearny Outdoor Expo
We completed our last Expo of the season at Fort Kearny State Rec. Area last week and what a blast. Several hundred volunteers and Commission staff turned out for an educational event that impacted several thousand school kids and families. Schools and families could participate in rifle, shotgun, muzzleloaders, archery, fishing, bow fishing, kayaking, wildlife education activities and much more at the 2010 Expo. Rawly, I have to add that Marv and his crew had a BEAUTIFUL PARK prepared for the “onslaught” of kids and families that ANY Baseball groundskeeper would have been PROUD OF!
And, as usual, He had his hands in a large portion of the work!
