Take The Kids On a Night Hike

Here is a fun idea…Next evening when you are all sitting around the TV…sugges to the kids to get their boots on, a good hat and a flashlight and take them outside on a night hike!  You don’t have to be a biologist to find criiters in the night and kids love this stuff.  Make it a night time safari.  You’ll be amazed at what you may find in the  yard, driveway or on the porch. Teach the kids about each critter and why they are most likely to be found in the safety of darkness.  Its cool and kids love it!
