Not Just A Man's Sport

It fascinates me that while hunter numbers have declined, women are the fastest growing segment of hunting and shooting sports.  It is clear that more women are taking to the field than ever before.  Just look at your Cabela’s, Filson, Bass Pro and other catalogues.  There are more pages for women’s outdoor gear than ever before too.  These folks are in it to make money.  They would not sale women’ s gear if the market had not increased.  It definitely has!

The photos below come from our latest Becoming an Outdoors-Woman effort…this one was offered at Branched Oak.

Ready for action!

Our biggest offering each year is the Becoming an Outdoors-Woman Program held at the NE National Forest near Halsey.  This year the program will be Oct. 1-3 and we are still accepting registrations.  This is an outstanding event for adult women to come out and participate in exciting outdoor activities in a relaxing and fun atmosphere.   You owe it to yourself!  We have ladies attend each year who want to learn these skills to participate with friends, significant, teach their kids/grandkids, etc.   Everyone has a great time and the accommodations are really cool!  For more info go to www.nebraskabow.com
