Platte River State Park Shooting Complex Update
Okay I’m really excited now. The new shooting facilities are really taking shape. In the pictures you can now see the shooting tower over the archery range. Archers will be able to shoot from this elevated tower in a safe environment simulating the treestand shot! Oh I can’t wait. We are now designing the benches for the rifle range. One design change…instead of tubes we are looking into baffling (overhead) to maintain safety and keep bullets from leaving the range. When this thing is done…shooters are going to love this new park!

I would love to see some additional photo’s of the archery range if it is done. I really would like to see how they built the elevated shooting tower. Please post more pictures if completed.
