Followers of NEBRASKAland’s Afield and Afloat blog will be seeing new online additions to our team in an effort to provide you with excellent content on the web. These online additions include:
Michael Forsberg’s From the Field- Former staffer turned acclaimed photographer Michael Forsberg will provide us with information on his latest travels throughout the Great Plains.
Nebraska History- The Nebraska Historical Society has been so gracious to allow us usage of their blogs. Because NEBRASKAland has always provided history in its publication, this was a natural fit to team with one of the best academic publications in the country.
Bob Grier’s From the West- It is with NEBRASKAland’s great pleasure that we have wrangled former staffer Bob Grier into revealing some of the photographs from his trips throughout the western part of the state. His inclusion is long overdue, and we look forward to seeing more of his tremendous work throughout the year.
The Prairie Ecologist- This blog, written by the Nature Conservancy’s Chris Helzer, reveals the great and small that Nebraska has to offer. Helzer, a longtime contributor to NEBRASKAland, provides excellent insight as to prairie restoration through beautiful images and thoughtful words.
The Green Team- Written by NGPC horticulturalist Mike Groenewold, The Green Team provides insight for everything flora throughout the state of Nebraska.
Lastly, there are the words of NEBRASKAland staff writers Jon Farrar, Eric Fowler, and myself.
Hopefully you enjoy NEBRASKAland’s family of staffers and freelancers on this blog site. I know I will.
