MORE BROADCAST MEDIA NOTES
I have some more broadcast media notes to pass along to you this week.
On Omaha area TV station WOWT/Channel 6 Thursday during the 6 p.m. Sports Weekly Outdoor Report, WOWT Sports Director Ross Jernstrom and I will be featuring the unique Ashfall Fossil Beds State Historical Park in northeast Nebraska. Neat place, you gotta see this! A repla of the Weekly Outdoor Report is always available after the initial broadcast by clicking on the appropriate video selection to the right of your computer screen on this link: http://www.wowt.com/sports
On my weekly outdoor talk radio show – The Great Outdoor Radio Show – airing on Omaha’s KOZN Radio/1620 AM and online at www.1620thezone.com Saturday morning from 9-10 a.m., I’ll be coming to you live at Southwest Tire Company at 137th & Q in southwest Omaha. The owner, Tom Cullinane, will be co-piloting with me. He is a longtime friend, avid fellow outdoorsman, Nebraska farm owner, and all-around great guy! Stop by or listen in! I’m sure we’ll ‘talk tires’ also.
I really enjoy doing live radio outside the walls of the studio where I can say “hello” and meet you! Here I am with Pete Berthelsen of Nebraska Pheasants Forever on a live remote broadcast a few months ago at Qwest Center Omaha where I was ambushed and received a wildlife conservation award from the folks at Pheasants Forever.
I do an array of other weekly guest appearances on radio stations around the midwest to try to keep you informed on the happenings and current events in the Nebraska outdoor scene. For example, on Tuesday mornings from 8:35-9:00 a.m. I am live with Matt Price on KHUB Radio/1340 AM out of Fremont, NE. On Wednesday mornings in between 7:32-7:38 a.m. I am on the air live for a few minutes with Steve Crawford and company on WNAX Radio/570 AM out of Yankton, SD. And then, on Friday mornings sometime between 8:50-8:56 a.m., I am on for a few minutes live with Gary Sadlemeyer and the Good Morning Show team on KFAB Radio/1110 AM in Omaha, NE.
I invite you to tune in to any of these broadcasts. They are never dull, trust me! THANKS FOR LISTENING!!!
