Endorf Wins High School 3-D Archery Tournament

LINCOLN, Neb. – Spencer Endorf of Norfolk won the overall title for the second straight time at the Nebraska High School 3-D archery tournament June 11 in Broken Bow. He scored 466 out of a possible 480 points.

The high overall team was Elkhorn Valley with 1,247 out of 1,440 points. Team members were Wade Oelsligle, Brian Stuckwisch, Brett Eggers and Chris Larson. The three highest scores out of four-person teams were used to determine team scores.

The competition consisted of an archer shooting at one or two different 3-D animal targets at each of 24 stations.

The results were:

Junior Female Traditional – 1. Hannah Smith, Broken Bow, 182.

Junior Female Compound – 1. Alexus Glaser, Norfolk, 394; 2. Shania Hansen, Norfolk, 331; 3. Charmayne Popp, Broken Bow, 329.

Junior Male Traditional – 1. Triston Palensky, Clarkson, 244.

Junior Male Compound – 1. Josh Pflasterer, Columbus, 448; 2. Brian Boesel, Allen, 442; 3. Zak Harper, Broken Bow, 433.

Senior Female Traditional – 1. Desarae Catlett, Broken Bow, 149.

Senior Female Compound – 1. Katie Panowicz, Ravenna, 321; 2. Taylor Hornickel, Ord, 312; 3. Katelyn Palmer, Ansley, 222.

Senior Male Compound – 1. Spencer Endorf, Norfolk, 466; 2. Brett Eggers, Elkhorn Valley, 448; 3. Wade Oelsligle, Elkhorn Valley, 423.

High School Team – 1. Elkhorn Valley (Brett Eggers, Brian Stuckwisch,Wade Oelsligle, Chris Larson), 1,247; 2. Norfolk (Spencer Endorf, Alexus Glaser, Haley Brooks, Shania Hansen), 1,191; 3. Falls City (Kenny Fredrick, Trevor Harling, Cord Huettner), 1,139.
