GO FISH THE TROUT LAKE!

June 15, 2011 In The Wild 1 Comment

The Grove Trout Station Crew getting ready to stock the Two Rivers SRA Trout Lake with pan-sized rainbows.

I have a note to pass along to all of you from Steve Wilhelm who is the Fish Production Manager of the Nebraska Game and Parks Commission’s Grove Trout Station near Royal, NE with regard to the Two Rivers State Recreation Area Trout Lake near Waterloo. Go fish the Trout Lake, the area is open and not flooded!  Steve says that the Trout Lake at Two Rivers is still going strong!

One of the nice pan-sized rainbow trout caught and going to the frying pan!

Catch rates on the pan-sized rainbows have picked up lately (8 tags returned with 4.0 trout/tag the last two days) and water quality still looks good. Steve encourages you to come fish it! See you out there!
