WHAT A CATCH! ENTER THE FISHING PHOTO CONTEST!

A note to share from Jane Gustafson of the Nebraska Game and Parks Commission’s Marketing Team in Lincoln.

We at Game and Parks have teamed up with the North Platte Telegraph newspaper to sponsor an online fishing photo contest for the fun of it! I would encourage any of you to submit your fish/fishing-related photos to the contest, and be sure to vote for the ones you think are the best. Special thanks to Suzanne Ridder and the Parks division for helping us come up with the prizes for this. We will be looking to put together a park or camping photo contest in the future as well. And, be ready for November, because we’ll be doing a hunting photo contest then. See you out there!

Oh yeah, by the way, I’ll be entering my wife Polly’s trout fishing photo from the East Branch of the Verdigre Creek in the contest (shh, don’t tell her – she’s embarrassed of that photo). Here it is, enjoy, sorry Polly.
