GREAT OUTDOOR RADIO SHOW HITS THE ROAD
The Great Outdoor Radio Show that I host hits the road in the next few weeks for some cool events and I’d love to see you at one or more or ALL of them!
If you are unaware, the live, interactive outdoor talk radio show airs Saturday mornings from 9-10 a.m. CDT on Omaha’s KOZN Radio/1620 AM “The Zone” and online at www.1620thezone.com
Come out to the first event this Saturday, August 13th where I’ll be broadcasting at the Eugene T. Mahoney State Park’s Family Aquatic Center for its Splash-N-Bash. Call the park for further details about this fun event for the whole family at 402-944-2523.
Park Superintendent and good friend Brian Schmidt will be co-piloting with me on this broadcast.
The next destination for a live broadcast will be at the Scheels Store in the Village Pointe Shopping Center in west Omaha on August 20th. Scheels www.scheels.com is having its big waterfowl and dog expo then, I can’t wait! Look for me and my co-host Patrick Hoesing, Scheels Outdoor Expert, near the store entrance.
And, on August 27th, a very special Great Outdoor Radio Show broadcast will be conducted at The Waterford Assisted Living Community at 119th & Miracle Hills Drive in Omaha http://www.cslretirement.com/miracle_hills/. Denise Lewis of Raptor Recovery Nebraska (RRN) http://www.raptorrecoverynebr.org/ and another RRN member will be bringing a few of their live, educational birds of prey to the facility and will talk about the important role that RRN serves to the state and points beyond. Don’t miss this special, on-site broadcast about birds and conservation! Perhaps Chinook, an eastern screech owl, will make an appearance with the RRN folks, hmmm …?
