Family Nature Day
Waterloo, NE - Come out and join Nebraska Game and Parks staff and volunteers for “Family Nature Day” at Two Rivers State Recreation Area. Family Nature Day will be on Saturday, October 15, from 10:00 AM through 4:00 PM. There will be wide range of games and activities geared toward engaging Nebraska families in nature and outdoor activities.
The activities will include items like bird watching on a short hike led by an experienced birder, a regular who done it at Critter Scene Investigation where using animal signs you attempt to figure out what animals were involved, Nebraska Wildlife Jeopardy to learn about all types of Nebraska wildlife, take an Un-natural hike to learn the difference between what is natural or not, and many other activities.
