WONDERFUL NEW BOOK FOR KIDS ABOUT CRANES

My good buddy, outdoor/nature writer Jeff Kurrus of NEBRASKAland Magazine, will host a special book signing event in my hometown for a nonprofit, youth-based charity featuring copies of his new enchanting book for kids about the biology and natural history of  the sandhill crane, entitled: Have You Seen Mary? With Jeff’s clever writing style and my friend Michael Forsberg’s awesome photos, this book is a must-read for Nebraska youngsters! In fact, I’ve had the privilege of putting my editorial touch on the book as well. Famed biologist/ornithologist and author, Paul Johnsgard, Foundation Professor Emeritus at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, writes this review about the book: “Have You Seen Mary? is an appealing children’s story that blends in a good deal of crane natural history, liberally sprinkled with Mike Forsberg’s spectacular photographs of sandhill cranes and their Great Plains wetlands habitats.”
