WHAT MAKES DEER HUNTING SO SPECIAL
Deer hunting is special and these are the things that make deer hunting, specifically firearm deer hunting, so special to me!
It’s the quality time that I spent with friends and family deer hunting that is most special, and moreover, guiding for a youth (like my son Noah) and witnessing him succeed!
It’s experiencing the sunrises and sunsets on gorgeous November Nebraska days from treestands and ground blinds that is very special as well!
It’s the wildlife, besides deer, like chattering fox squirrels, that I see and hear while waiting for deer to show up that’s also quite special!
And, finally, I’ve always said, and continue to say, that harvesting a deer is special – no question about that, but it is merely a bonus from nature!
Of course, venison summer sausage on the cutting board at home is really special now, isn’t it? Oh yeah!
