MUST-READS ABOUT PHEASANTS AND PHEASANT HABITAT

This e-mail message entitled: “Another Reason to Fight the Good Fight” regarding pheasants was recently sent to me along with other resource professionals by Pete Berthelsen, a certified wildlife biologist who heads the Nebraska Pheasants and Quail Forever conservation organization. Pete’s message and the article are must-reads about pheasants  and pheasant habitat!

If you ever needed something to reinforce why what you do for conservation and wildlife habitat every day is so important, this should do it. 

This article from a recent pheasant hunt that took place in South Dakota should be an interesting read, outline something you’re seeing almost every day and really paint a very sobering picture.  We are living in a very interesting time where the landscape is changing fast…….sometimes faster than we can really appreciate.

 Keep up your efforts to establish, enhance and improve wildlife habitat.  You’re making a difference…..one acre at a time.
