PHOTO ESSAY OF A LATE SEASON DEER HUNT

January 13, 2012 In The Wild 1 Comment

A little photo essay of my adventures late season deer hunting in southeastern Nebraska. I have always enjoyed the late deer hunting season because of  the tremendous solitude and scenic beauty it offers.

Harvesting an antlerless whitetail during the late season is always considered a bonus!

Nebraska’s late deer hunting season for antlerless whitetails runs through Wednesday, January 18th in the season choice, area-numbered units. Get out there and enjoy some of those sunsets!

Psst ... See the turkeys in the roost!
