LAKE WANAHOO NEWS

March 9, 2012 In The Wild 3 Comments

Just received word from our parks division that Lake Wanahoo near Wahoo, NE in Saunders County will have an opening date of April 28th. Here’s an aerial photo of the 637-acre reservoir from our good friends at the Lower Platte North Natural Resources District. Look at the tremendous fish habitat!

I’ll have more info to pass along on Lake Wanahoo soon! Until then, here’s a link for more details about this big water body: http://www.lpnnrd.org/projects/recreation/wanahoo.html

Many times have looked for your outdoor report replays on wowt and no luck. Is the another location that the replays are available. I am working most days when you reports run and would like to view them when I have free time.
