Here’s the rundown of what I’ll be covering with my outdoors-related broadcasts this week. I invite you to tune in!
On television, we’re goin’ rainbow trout fishin’! I’ll be featuring the popular Two Rivers SRA Trout Lake near Waterloo (which opens at 7 a.m. this Saturday) and I’ll be offering some fishing tips to help improve the odds at catching some of those nice rainbows in that special pay lake, plus I’ll be encouraging you to take your kids fishing there, too! My outdoor TV segment – The Weekly Outdoor Report – takes place live on Thursdays at 6 p.m. during sports on Omaha’s WOWT-TV/Channel 6. It also airs on Saturday mornings later in the hour-long 8 a.m. newscast. Additionally, you can see replays of the segment on www.wowt.com/sports
On radio, we’re gonna take a walk in the woods … to look for shed deer antlers that is! Don’t miss shed antler hunting expert Ricky Krueger of Fremont, NE representing the North American Shed Hunters Club when he stops by The Great Outdoor Radio Show this week.
