Grant Hoefener Benefit Shoot

April 16, 2012 Lock, Stock and Bedlam No Comments

In 2010, the Hunter Education Family lost a great young man.  The Lower Platte Archery Club  is hosting a benefit shoot to be held June 10th from 11am – 4pm for archers to help his outstanding outdoor legacy live on. The shoot is to help raise funds for his high school, Millard West.  The day will be filled with family fun activities including:

20 animal 3D shoot

Novelty shoots for kids

Novelty shoots for adults

The good folks of the Ted Nugent Camp for Kids will supply archery equipment for families and participants that do not have their own.  The whole day should be a lot of fun for first time, novice or experienced archers.  The shoot will be held at the Larry Elston Archery Range located just west of the Aksarben Aquarium off of Hwy 31 just six miles south of Gretna.  Lunch will be available too!  Many opportunities will be had to win prizes, raffles, etc. including:

Pheasant Hunt for two at Pheasant Bonanza

Flint knapped knife by Vince Smith

Many more prizes and raffles await!

The club requests a donation of $5 for each person.

Come enjoy a great day in the outdoors, experience the sport of Archery and meet new friends while contributing to the school one of our fellow outdoors man was very fond of.  Grant loved the outdoors and this is a great way for the shooting community to help his legacy live on!
