WANAHOO, RVS FEATURED ON BROADCASTS

April 23, 2012 In The Wild No Comments

For television this week, there’s no doubt that Lake Wanahoo just north of Wahoo, NE will be center stage on my WOWT-TV/Channel 6 Weekly Outdoor Report. This beautiful 662-water acre reservoir built for fish opens to fishing and camping at 8 a.m. this Saturday, April 28th.

Find out more about Wanahoo and see video of it by watching my report Thursday at 6 p.m. during the sportscast on Omaha’s WOWT-TV/Channel 6. The Weekly Outdoor Report also airs on Saturday morning later in Channel 6′s one-hour long 8 a.m. newscast. Like always, video replays are made available after the initial Thursday broadcast at www.wowt.com/sports

On The Great Outdoor Radio Show (G.O.R.S.) I host, we’re heading to Nebraska family-owned and operated Apache Camper Center at 1120 Fort Crook Road South in Bellevue, NE for a special, live broadcast to talk RVs with David and Nancy Sothan and crew. It’s Apache Camper Center’s 45th Anniversary bash! Come have a hot dog, kick the tires on these new and used RVs parked on the lot and in their large, super-clean showroom.

The G.O.R.S. airs on Omaha’s KOZN Radio 1620 AM “The Zone” and online at www.1620thezone.com every Saturday morning from 9-10 a.m. CST.  Give a  listen!
