Southeast Birding Day is May 8 at Rock Creek Station SHP

LINCOLN, Neb. – Birders of all experience levels are invited to the Nebraska Game and Parks Commission’s Southeast District Birding Day on May 8 at Rock Creek Station State Historical Park.

Birders should bring binoculars, spotting scopes, cameras, field guides, insect repellant and appropriate clothing.

To sign up, call Michele Fuhrer Hurt at 402-433-5077 by May 2. Lunch will be provided to those who request one.

The park is located 6 miles east of Fairbury in Jefferson County. A park entry permit is required.

    I would like more information as to times, etc. Is this a bird walk or will there be other things going on such as speakers, vendors etc. Thank you
