Passing along this week’s broadcasting notes related to Nebraska’s outdoor scene .

On TV, I’m gonna tell you where you and the fam’ can cool off and take a dip  in the Nebraska State Park system as we have some 30 areas that offer swimming of some sort, whether it is in pools or on sandy beaches.

My TV gig, The Weekly Outdoor Report on Omaha’s WOWT-TV/Channel 6, airs live on Thursdays at 6 p.m. during the sportscast and then again on Saturdays later in the station’s hour-long, 8 a.m. newscast.
