CARP-O-RAMA, BOATING ON BROADCASTS
You can tell from the headline that I’m gonna really cover the gamut on my outdoor broadcasts this week, aren’t I? Yup!
If you know me-Greg Wagner, you know I looovvve to fish for carp!
So, on my weekly TV outdoor report, I’ll be encouraging you and your family to come join us at the Pawnee Lake State Recreation Area near Lincoln from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. this Saturday, June 23rd to learn all about the fun of carp fishing at the popular Carp-O-Rama event! I’ll be broadcasting live with my report on Omaha’s WOWT-TV/Channel 6 on Thursday at 6 p.m. during the sportscast with Channel 6 Sports Director Ross Jernstrom at TD Ameritrade Park in downtown Omaha during the College World Series (CWS). Look for us on the east side of the stadium near the CWS Fan Fest area.
Changing to radio, on Saturday morning’s Great Outdoor Radio Show, we’re gonna be on the water addressing Nebraska boating laws and regulations as well as water safety with the Game and Parks Commission’s Boating Law Administrator Herb Angell who is always very informative and great to have on the air!
Now in its 13th year, The Great Outdoor Radio Show I host takes place from 9-10 a.m. CST on Omaha’s KOZN Radio 1620 AM “The Zone” and online at www.1620thezone.com Tune in, listen and then feel free to join the conversation by calling locally 402-951-1620 or toll-free 1-877-951-1620.
