DON’T INVOLVE ‘MISHAP’ ON THE WATER
My friend Tim Smalley of the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources (DNR) recently produced this cool, 60-second boating safety radio public service announcement (PSA) which is a parody of ‘Mayhem’ on the Allstate Insurance commercials. Also, a big reminder for those of you planning to go tubin’ on any of our Nebraska rivers that a U.S. Coast Guard-approved, wearable life jacket is required to be on-board each inner tube carrying a person which technically is a vessel! That life needs to be worn! In fact, those 12 years of age and under must wear their life jackets on any vessel!
