A Summary of Today’s Fishing Trip

Simply put, today was a great day. Not because we caught fish at a lake we’ve never fished before, but because the fish changed throughout the four hours we fished and we were able to stay in fish. Look at it this way: the hotter it got the better the fishing got.

Early in the trip, we were catching fish off of weed beds. Then, we found them off of a main point. After that, we started catching nice bass after backing off a contour halfway back to the boat.

Plus, and this is the best part, we never landed the two biggest fish of the day. What a great reason to go back.
