Every six months, the staff of Nebraskaland Magazine sits down for a no-holds-barred meeting to share, reject, and accept ideas for future magazine stories. The days are long, and sometimes tedious, but the end result (which isn’t seen for many more months by you, our readers) is a wealth of information about Nebraska’s outdoors through the pages of our publication.

However, besides our letters and reader participation sections such as our monthly trail camera photos, we get very little feedback from you regarding any story ideas or people that should be featured in the magazine. So here goes: email me at jeff.kurrus@nebraska.gov regarding any ideas that you think the magazine needs to cover. The idea will then be shared with the group.

The goal is to provide readers with the magazine that you want. With your input, we’ll be that much closer.
