Rock Creek SRA Has Burning Ban

LINCOLN, Neb. – A burning ban in Dundy County now includes Rock Creek Lake State Recreation Area (SRA), according to the Nebraska Game and Parks Commission. High temperatures and dry conditions have gripped the southwest part of the state.

Signs warning of the ban on burning fires will be posted at the SRA 4 miles north and 1 west of Parks. There already were three fires burning within 3 miles of the SRA.
