Update from Louisville

When I last wrote, Madeline and I were about to fish at Louisville SRA yesterday afternoon. While the fishing only lasted an hour, we did well. We caught three largemouth, all on topwater scum frog, and lost another fish. We fished Lake No. 1a because it had one of the highest catch rates for largemouth in the state (find this information here).

We had the lake to ourselves and there were still fish to be caught when we left. But we had strict directions from The Commish (my wife) to be home before Maddie’s bedtime, so we left some decently active fish.

I plan to go somewhere this week and will keep you updated to our success, or attempted success.
