Just a note to let you know that Nebraska Game and Parks Commission crews continue to help volunteer firefighters and others battle as well as stay ahead of  those wildfires in northern Nebraska. Our crews are being rotated and are comprised of staff from the wildlife, fisheries, parks, law enforcement and the operations & construction divisions of the agency.

Donations of money, food, water, camping-type supplies (Calamine lotion for poison ivy/poison oak) and even sweat equity are still being sought for those fighting the fires and for those displaced by the fires. Go online to Nebraska radio station KBRB out of Ainsworth for more details on how you can lend a hand or some supplies at www.KBRBradio.com  Thanks!
