ATTENTION ELKHORN RIVER USERS!

August 1, 2012 In The Wild No Comments

See below. Helpin’ our friends in the public business of conservation/outdoor recreation get the word out to those of you who use (or will be using) the Elkhorn River access points/areas in Douglas County for your summer outdoor activities.

Please note that a U.S. Coast Guard-approved, properly-fitting/properly-working life jacket needs to be on-board any vessel for each person, except that those under 13 must have them on at all times. Life jackets are strongly encouraged to be worn by anyone floating Nebraska waters. A vessel is defined as anything that transports people on water which would include an inner tube.
