THE GRIDIRON, STATE PARK LANDS ON TV OUTDOOR REPORT?

On my Weekly Outdoor Report airing on Omaha’s WOWT-TV/Channel 6, with the kick off of the high school football season later this week, I’ll be encouraging  fans traveling to away games to go early and tailgate at one of Nebraska’s many state park lands.

For example, the  Elkhorn South Storm plays at Beatrice – the home of the Orangemen - on Friday night, so storm fans, leave early and tailgate/picnic at beautiful Rockford Lake State Recreation Area just outside of Beatrice!

The Weekly Outdoor Report airs live on Channel 6 Thursday at 6 p.m. CST and online at www.wowt.com during the sports segment with my good friend and captain of the Channel 6 Sports Machine – Ross Jernstrom. Rossy, as we refer to him, thoroughly enjoys sports and the Nebraska outdoor scene!
