Cowboy Bootmaker – Know Nebraskans
I have been on vacation for the last week and came back to the anticipated overflowing email box and list of things to do that a content manager wrangles with each day. As I whittled away the mountain of tasks and messages I came across a gem. A fan had submitted a video feature piece that she thought might be of interest to our Game and Parks audience. Well, I took some time away from my mailbox clean up and clicked the play button and agreed that this piece would be of interest to our fan base.
The story is about Kyle Rosfeld of the Sandhills Boot Company in Cody, Nebraska. He grew up on his uncle’s ranch and started working as soon as he was old enough to shut the gates. Rosfeld did everything — running the tractor, haying, as well as tending to the cattle. After years of physically demanding work as a ranch hand, he decided to follow a different calling: custom cowboy bootmaking. Read the rest of the story and View the video
I don’t know about you, but I think a pair of custom made boots might be at the top of my Christmas wish list.
