Oligmueller New Superintendent at Platte River SP

LINCOLN, Neb. – Bill Oligmueller is the new park superintendent, effective Sept. 1, at Platte River State Park (SP) near Louisville, according to the Nebraska Game and Parks Commission.

Oligmueller, a native of Jackson, Neb., and graduate of Bellevue University, has been the park superintendent at Lake McConaughy State Recreation Area since October 2011.

Oligmueller began his Game and Parks career as Platte River SP’s facility maintenance technician, before being promoted to assistant park superintendent at Eugene T. Mahoney SP near Ashland. He transferred to Lake McConaughy after spending 10 years at Mahoney.
