Small Game, Dove Workshops Scheduled in Lincoln

LINCOLN, Neb. – The Nebraska Game and Parks Commission and the Lincoln Izaak Walton League will host a small game hunting workshop Aug. 25 at 9 a.m. and a dove hunting workshop Aug. 29 at 6 p.m. Both events will take place at the Izaak Walton League clubhouse.

Topics at the workshops will include hunting strategies, equipment and recipes. Participants who bring their firearm and ammunition will be able to shoot following each workshop.

The clubhouse is located a half-mile south of Nebraska Highway 2 on 134th Street. Space is limited. Register at HuntSafeNebraska.com.
