IMAGES OF A SCOUTING EXPEDITION

October 24, 2012 In The Wild 2 Comments

Thought I’d share some images of a recent scouting expedition for the upcoming November firearm deer hunting season on our 146 year-old southeastern Nebraska family farm. My Son Zach and I found no dead whitetail deer from E.H.D. and actually bumped several groups of whitetails from their daytime bedding areas.  I have always said and continue to say that it is about the process and the aesthetics of hunting that make it so worthwhile! Enjoy!

      Hi Harold,

Hope all goes well, for you, my friend! Say, I wish I had a story about that old pick ‘um up truck, but I don’t. The only thing I can remember is riding with my granddad in that truck while he was checking cattle. Thanks for reading/responding to the blog!
