More Rules You Can Only Learn in Nature

October 12, 2012 Afield and Afloat No Comments

From reader Brian Carlin: 1) Always carry an extra boat plug in the truck or in your tackle box; 2) Keep a coat hanger in the boat. An unwound hanger can help retrieve lures just under the water but not with in reach.  A one inch snip of the wire can also double as a spare trolling motor shear pin.

One more from me: Never fully dress before walking to your deer stand on a cold morning. Dress once your arrive to minimize sweating.
