THE DOG LADY

November 27, 2012 In The Wild No Comments

She is a Nebraska Conservation Officer and an excellent one at that,

but I call her “The Dog Lady.”

Meet Conservation Dina Barta of Lincoln, NE. There is no more passionate a person when it comes to volunteering her own time to get dogs of all kinds adopted through the Capitol Humane Society in Lincoln http://www.capitalhumanesociety.org/ It’s her stunning photographs that inspire many of us to check into adopting various dogs like this beautiful female, white German Wirehaired Pointer named Sugar.

I had the privilege of working with Dina early in her Game and Parks career at our Omaha Office. She is an upstanding, hardworking, tell-it-like-it-is, caring, deeply passionate person. See Dina’s TAKE ME HOME photo gallery of adorable, adoptable dogs by clicking here:  http://www.flickr.com/photos/ngpc/sets/72157631786330682/show/ or visit: http://outdoornebraska.ne.gov/hunting/dogs/dogs.asp For those of us who live in Omaha, here’s a link to the Nebraska Humane Society: www.nehumanesociety.org

Kudos to Dina for the work she continues to do regarding our four-legged canine companions-to-be!
