Waiting for a mink

Well here I sit waiting for a mink. I so wanted to get some awesome pictures of this mink that was diving through open holes in the ice and swimming under the water and ice in search of a tasty meal. The mink came up through the open hole in the ice with a small bluegill. Believe me it was soooo cool to watch. The snow is coming down this morning and I am starting to get cold waiting to get pictures of this mink. Sometimes critters just do not cooperate for a photographic moment, bummer for me! That will teach me to not be faster for a photo opportunity next time. I will sit here until my toes and fingers are just a little colder then I will have to throw in the towel until next time. Rascally mink any how! I love being out in a snow! I hope it keeps snowing as I bought a new pair of snowshoes yesterday!
