Girls Rule

Let me tell you about one other thing that occupied some of my time this week.  It took us awhile to finally get a class that fit our schedule and one that did not fill up before we could register, but this week my daughter finally took her Hunter Education …

Warm and Fuzzy

You can tell it has been a busy week; here it is “after hours” on Thursday and I am just posting my second blog post of the week. So, let me tell you about one thing that has occupied my time this week.  Last night I was over to Halleck …

Some field work

I will readily admit to you that I do not get out on the water and do much field work anymore.  There was a time in my career when that is mostly what I did, but now I spend most of my time at a desk in front of a …

Weekend report, 4th of July 2011

I got back in the office yesterday, just getting caught up enough that I can post up a trip report.  We spent the 4th of July weekend “out west” with family.  Had a fantastic weekend, spent a lot of time together with various family members and managed to fit a …

Quick blog post here before the weekend.  This week I have regaled you with stories and pictures of big fish and today I have more.  If there is one thing I have learned while blogging the past couple of years is folks love to see pictures and hear stories about …

Carp?

This coming Saturday is our annual “Carp-O-Rama” event at Pawnee Reservoir west of Lincoln. Now, I know what some of you are thinking. . . fishing for carp?  On purpose?  NO WAY!  Or, how can you fish for carp, why not kill them all? Let me address that second question …
