Butterflies are readily seen during warm summer days with little wind. Typically, May to August are the best months, and you will do well looking in sunny exposed places with low plants. They are typically seen in greater abundance mid-morning to late afternoon. Explore butterfly gardens, wetlands, woodlands, grasslands and even your backyard for butterflies.
