Paddlefish Application Dates

Snagging Paddlefish | Tagging Study | Angling Tags | Paddlefish Permits | Archery Paddlefish | Paddlefish Application Dates |

A Paddlefish permit is required along with a Nebraska fishing permit for taking paddlefish by snagging or bow and arrow. The application periods are listed below:

Initial Archery Application Dates (First Tag Only)	Postmarked from April 1-14
Initial Archery Paddlefish Drawing	May
Archery Open Application (First or Second Tag, First Come, First Served)	First working day of June at 1:00 p.m. *
Initial Snagging Application Dates	Postmarked from July 1-14
Initial Snagging Paddlefish Drawing	August
Snagging Open Application (First or Second Tag, First Come, First Served)	First working day of Sept. at 1:00 p.m. *
* All application periods begin at 1 p.m. Central Daylight Savings Time. Mailed applications must be received in the Lincoln office by 5 pm on the last day of the application period. Online applications end at midnight.
