The Nebraska Pond Management Guide series was developed to provide an overview of information that owners
can use to manage existing ponds or construct new ones. Information includes segments on pond
construction, habitat modifications, stocking, management, potential maintenance problems, and
other pond animals. By knowing what conditions can lead to problems, pond owners can correct
or even prevent them.
Please note:
Effective January 1, 2009, a Private Waterbody Management Authorization (PWMA)
is required before harvesting/removing bass less than 15 inches long.
