This new complex is located at 44th and Superior in the City of Lincoln's rustic Helen Boosalis Park. From I-80 simply take the 56th Street Exit and turn right onto Superior Street to 44th Street.

Beginning April 1, the outdoor archery range at the Nebraska Game and Parks Commission Outdoor Education Center will no longer be accessible from the private drive through Lincoln Trap and Skeet off of 48th Street.

After April 1, the range will be accessible only from the entrance to the Outdoor Education Center at 44th and Superior streets. The range will remain open after April 1, and hours will remain the same, as well. The outdoor archery range is currently open from sunrise to sunset.

The park is flanked by Lincoln Trap and Skeet on the east and Salt Creek on the west. The new facility is a youth and family destination for exciting educational programs in outdoor skills including hunting, shooting and boating education and general shooting sports recreation.

The Nebraska Game and Parks Commission Outdoor Education Center provides eastern Nebraska with a local community based shooting sports recreation center that will serve a large shooting sports population but also focus on recruitment efforts to reach youth,
families, and special interest groups. This new complex will be the focal point of the Commission's Hunter Education and shooting
sports programs. Educational programs and shooting development opportunities will appeal to a large audience from veteran participants to schools, families and youth. This new complex will provide consistent family friendly shooting sports opportunities throughout the entire year.
